    Abstract:

The advent of Workforce 5.0 has redefined the dynamics between human talent and technological innovation. This study investigates how upskilling, reskilling, and employee engagement intersect to create a future-ready workforce, with specific reference to IT organizations adapting to this rapid evolution. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining quantitative survey analysis and qualitative case studies from leading IT companies. Statistical tools such as Pearson correlation, linear regression, chi-square tests, and Spearman’s rank correlation were employed to analyse employee responses from 112 participants. The results suggest that most workers are highly prepared to learn, adjust to new technology, and actively engage in upskilling initiatives. Employee adaptability in hybrid work contexts has been found to be strongly influenced by organizational support. Additionally, a strong positive correlation between skill development programs and employee engagement was found, with engaged workers also exhibiting better retention intent.
